What Can ‘Sena – Guardians of the Nation’ Teach Us About a Soldier's Journey?

Mumbai, Aug 11 (NationPress) The highly anticipated trailer for the new streaming series ‘Sena – Guardians of the Nation’ was released on Monday, providing a gripping insight into the lives of individuals who prioritize duty above all, even at the risk of their own lives.

The narrative centers around Kartik Sharma, a young man who abandons the allure of a promising career in California to don the soldier's uniform, a choice that creates tension with his father. The series comprises 5 episodes, showcasing the rigorous journey to pass the demanding Armed Forces Academy selection exams.

Upon successfully passing the exams, Kartik is assigned to the challenging and volatile region of Kashmir. However, when he is captured by militants, what starts as a mission evolves into a profound test of survival, trust, and reconciliation. The series employs a non-linear storytelling format and features actors such as Vikram Singh Chauhan, Yashpal Sharma, Shirley Setia, Anandeshwar Dwivedi, Rahul Tewari, Vijay Vikram Singh, Anupam Bhattacharya, Neelu Dogra, and Funcho.

The cast also includes authentic army veterans, such as the former spy, sniper, and National Security Guard commando Lucky Bisht; Colonel Rajeev Bharwan (also known as Mumma Sir); Lt Col Kaushalendra Singh, SM; Lt Col Paishal Manocha; Col RK Sharma, recipient of the Kirti Chakra, Shaurya Chakra, and Sena Medal (Gallantry); and Wing Commander Urvashi Rohilla from the Indian Air Force.
