Chennai, Dec 22 (NationPress) During a recent media event, Kannada Superstar Dr. Shivarajkumar emphasized that he would certainly approach Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth for a role in a Kannada film if a deserving opportunity arises. However, he firmly believes that he should not exploit their relationship simply because of his participation in the Tamil movie 'Jailer'.
While promoting his upcoming Kannada film '45', Dr. Shiva Rajkumar was questioned about whether he would invite Rajinikanth to act in a Kannada project, similar to how the 'Jailer' team approached him.
In his response, he stated, "Such a move cannot be made lightly. The project must be well-formed. When he is involved, it should be something unique. I have known him since childhood and I should not take advantage of our connection. If a significant role comes up, I will definitely reach out to Rajini sir."
'45', directed by Arjun Janya, is produced by Uma Ramesh Reddy and M. Ramesh Reddy, with dialogues penned by Anil Kumar.
Set to release on December 25 this year, this film marks the directorial debut of music composer Arjun Janya.
Alongside Dr. Shiva Rajkumar, the film is generating considerable anticipation among fans and cinephiles, featuring co-stars Raj B. Shetty and Upendra in significant roles.
In an interview with IANS, director Arjun Janya explained, "The title '45' signifies that the story unfolds during this time frame. The plot was inspired by certain personal experiences in my life, which served as the foundation. When I shared the script with Shivanna, he encouraged me to direct it myself, becoming my second source of inspiration."
When inquired about the film's genre, the director acknowledged the challenge of categorizing it into a single genre. He invited audiences to interpret it themselves, with assistance from actor Raj B. Shetty, who elaborated, "The narrative incorporates three elements: the realistic experiences of an ordinary person, intertwined with another character's cinematic journey, culminating in a fantastical conclusion. Yet, the transitions are smooth and cohesive."
The film's cinematography is by Satya Hegde, with K. M. Prakash handling the editing. The action sequences were choreographed by Dr. K. Ravivarma, Jolly Bastian, Different Dany, and Chetan D’souza, while the dance sequences were choreographed by Chinni Prakash and B. Dhananjay.
