Mumbai, Feb 16 (NationPress) Rizwan Siddiquee, the attorney of Ektaa Kapoor, has released a statement addressing the allegations made by Hindustani Bhau in connection with a case from 2020. Hindustani Bhau lodged a deceptive complaint against Ektaa Kapoor, claiming she showed disrespect towards our soldiers.

In light of this, Ektaa Kapoor's lawyer has indicated the intention to file a civil defamation lawsuit for damages amounting to 100 crores.

In his statement, Ektaa R Kapoor's lawyer articulated, "Acting under directives and on behalf of my client, Ms. Ektaa R. Kapoor, her family, and ALT Digital Media Entertainment Ltd., I wish to officially record the following:

1) Certain individuals and organizations with personal interests, hidden agendas, and nefarious motives are spreading false and misleading information regarding my clients and a police complaint from 2020 that has already been resolved.

2) When this matter was recently presented to the 9th Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate of Bandra Court, no cognizance of the complaint was taken. Instead, the magistrate requested a police investigation report to verify the authenticity and validity of the complaint. This is referred to as 'postponement of issuance of process under law.' In such circumstances, no one should have hastily made any public remarks or published articles insinuating that my client has engaged in any wrongdoing as alleged.

Despite this legal clarity, some individuals are still attempting to unlawfully tarnish my clients' reputations for publicity, at the expense of their honor. Thus, I have been directed to commence stringent legal actions under both civil and criminal statutes against these offenders.

Consequently, be informed that my clients are considering pursuing legal action against these offenders by filing a civil defamation suit for 100 crores, in addition to criminal proceedings."

The statement was disseminated on Rizwan Siddiquee's X (formerly known as Twitter).
