This movie narrates the tale of an 11-year-old boy whose greatest dream is to be abducted by aliens. It also features his Aunt Olga (voiced by Zoe Saldana) and Glordon (voiced by Remy Edgerly), who becomes Elio's surprising first friend and is, coincidentally, an alien.

The lead character, Elio, is voiced by Yonas Kibreab. The film depicts Elio's adventures as he journeys across the universe, meeting a variety of extraordinary creatures that might assist him in discovering where he truly belongs.
