Chennai, Aug 15 (NationPress) The creators of the highly anticipated action comedy film 'Dear Students', directed by George Philip Roy and Sandeep Kumar, have thrilled fans by releasing a side-splitting teaser featuring Nivin Pauly and Nayanthara in pivotal roles.
Actor Nivin Pauly shared the teaser link on his X account, stating, "The official teaser for 'Dear Students' is now available. Directed by @GeorgePhilipRoy & @Sandeepkumark1p, it stars the incredible #Nayanthara along with a talented group of newcomers. I'm excited to be part of this journey!"
The teaser opens with Hari (played by Nivin Pauly) enthusiastically detailing the various items available at his bakery to Nayanthara, whom he mistakenly assumes to be a customer. However, Nayanthara reveals that she has come to discuss a personal matter with him and invites him to sit down.
Misunderstanding her intent, Hari promptly sits next to her. Realizing the mix-up, Nayanthara quips with a smile, "Why stop at sitting on the chair? You could have sat on my lap."
Understanding the implication, Hari mutters, "Straight on the face!" and turns to an elderly man nearby, saying, "We need to discuss something personal. Please step aside." The man responds, "We are cops."
This teaser hints that Nayanthara portrays a police officer in the film, which revolves around a group of school students. In addition to comedy, the film promises to deliver a good dose of action as well.
The film's cinematography is handled by Anend C Chandran - Shinoz, while the soundtrack is composed by Justin Varghese and Sibi Mathew Alex. The background score is also composed by Sibi Mathew Alex, with editing by Lal Krishna and costume design by Melwy J and Mashar Hamsa.
