Chennai, Feb 18 (NationPress) The creators of director B. Unnikrishnan's political suspense film 'Prathichaya', starring actor Nivin Pauly in the lead role, have unveiled a captivating trailer that has thrilled both fans and cinema enthusiasts alike.

Nivin Pauly, on his social media platforms, shared the trailer link with the message, "Every image tells a tale. This one carries a destiny. Here’s the trailer for Prathichaya. The trailer opens with Nivin Pauly's voiceover, stating, "You are all eager to learn about my success tale. But am I truly successful? Success can sometimes be measured by one's title or salary. But is that the whole story? Were Gandhiji, Nehru, EMS, and AKG truly successful individuals? Or were they failures?" As this voiceover unfolds, we are presented with scenes of protests, political speeches, and various politicians.

We soon witness Nivin Pauly addressing numerous delegates. The visuals suggest that he portrays a political strategist, deeply entrenched in a politician's advisory circle. He articulates the complexity of politics: "Cabinet formation is a web of equations. Caste, religion, and powerful alliances dictate our positions. Icons are constructed and dismantled based on market demands."

The trailer reveals that Nivin Pauly's character is also embroiled in corruption. A politician remarks, "You are a corrupting force." To which Nivin Pauly's character responds, "As if you have no connection with corruption."

The film’s narrative focuses on the battle for power. A politician in authority mentions, "There are rumors I might be ousted from my position today."

Nevertheless, the film introduces honorable characters who value integrity. One such character asserts, "If you have nothing to conceal, you have nothing to dread. The world isn’t external; it’s internal."

The trailer also hints at a woman preparing to submit a 164 statement before the court, indicating a clash of powerful intellects in their quest for dominance. An intriguing line from the trailer encapsulates the film's essence: "There are no individuals in politics, only images."

Alongside Nivin Pauly, the film features Sharf U Dheen and Balachandra Menon in significant roles among others.

Written and helmed by Unnikrishnan B, the movie is produced by Gokulam Gopalan and RD Illuminations LLP.

On the technical side, the film boasts cinematography by Chandru Selvaraj, with music composed by Justin Varghese. The editing is done by Manoj and production design is handled by Shajie Naduvil. Aji Kutiyani leads the art direction team, while Shaji Padoor co-directed the film.
