Chennai, March 24 (NationPress) The creative team behind director B. Unnikrishnan's political thriller 'Prathichaya', starring actor Nivin Pauly, has unveiled the lyrical video for the track 'Thalava'.

This much-anticipated film is set for a global release on March 26.

Nivin Pauly shared the link to the lyrical video on his social media, stating, "Here’s the lively ‘Thalava’ Lyrical Video. Composed by Justin Varghese and helmed by Unnikrishnan B, this song fuses dynamic beats with captivating lyrics, creating an invigorating musical experience. #Prathichaya premieres in theaters on March 26."

The track, featuring vocals by Anand Sreeraj and Veno Miss, boasts lyrics penned by Suhail Koya. It combines spirited rhythms with memorable lyrics, creating an engaging musical atmosphere.

'Prathichaya' has garnered significant attention from cinema enthusiasts since the release of its intriguing trailer a few days ago.

The trailer opens with a thought-provoking voiceover by Nivin Pauly, who asks, "You all want to hear about my success story. But am I successful? Success can often be gauged by your title or salary. Is that the true measure? Were Gandhiji, Nehru, EMS, and AKG truly successful? Or were they failures?" As this voiceover unfolds, we witness scenes of protests, political rallies, and influential figures.

Subsequently, Nivin Pauly is seen addressing a group of delegates. From the visuals, it is clear that he portrays a political strategist involved in a politician's advisory circle. He articulates the complexities of politics, explaining, "Cabinet formation is a network of equations. Caste, religion, and powerful alliances shape our positions. Icons are created and dismantled based on market demands."

We learn that Nivin Pauly's character is not without corruption. A politician remarks, "You are a corrupting force," to which he retorts, "Like you have no connection to corruption."

The trailer also indicates a narrative centered on the battle for power. One politician expresses, "Rumors say I might be ousted from my position today."

However, the film also introduces honorable characters who uphold integrity. One such character asserts, "If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear. The world isn’t outside us; it’s within."

Moreover, the trailer hints at a female character preparing to submit a 164 statement before the court, suggesting a clash of powerful minds in their quest for dominance. A striking line from the trailer sums up the film's essence: "In politics, there are no individuals, only images."

Alongside Nivin Pauly, the cast includes Sharf U Dheen and Balachandra Menon in significant roles.

Written and directed by Unnikrishnan B, the film is produced by Gokulam Gopalan and Rd Illuminations LLP.

On the technical side, the film features cinematography by Chandru Selvaraj, music by Justin Varghese, editing by Manoj, and production design by Shajie Naduvil. Aji Kutiyani leads the art direction, while Shaji Padoor serves as co-director.
