Los Angeles, April 16 (NationPress) Hollywood actress Florence Pugh expressed her desire to initiate personal changes, acknowledging that she is not the most straightforward person to date. The 'Thunderbolts' star revealed that her demanding work commitments often make it challenging for her to schedule dates, as reported by femalefirst.co.uk.
Pugh, who is presently in a relationship with an unnamed partner, shared in the May edition of Britain's Harper's Bazaar: “I’m more sympathetic to the people who are in love with me, because it’s not easy! I’m tricky – I’m always busy, I can never make dates.
“However, it’s insufficient for me to ask someone to simply accept this. I’ll end up alone otherwise. That’s not what I want – I aspire to have a family.”
Her previous relationship concluded as she commenced filming 'We Live in Time', and she indicated that the movie's themes surrounding mortality prompted her to reassess her priorities.
She remarked: “It was a daunting breakup, and I believe that movie compelled me to recognize that I can’t keep waiting for people. I can’t settle for this version of love. I must prioritize myself… I’ve been working non-stop since I began, and I’ve missed a lot along the way.
“I’ve now accepted aspects of myself that I dislike and wish to improve. I no longer want life to just unfold around me.”
The 29-year-old actress called for increased tenderness and understanding after facing harsh online criticism during the exhausting process of freezing her eggs.
She commented: “There was a sensational article about me doing it. I know I shouldn’t read the comments, but… urgh. I wish there was a bit more tenderness and understanding… It can feel like a hate-fest out there.”
