Chennai, Aug 1 (NationPress) The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has officially approved director Mu Muran’s eagerly awaited thriller ‘Blackmail’, starring actor, music director, and producer G V Prakash in the lead role, for release with a clean U/A certificate.
On its timeline on X, JDS Film Factory, the film's production house, announced, "#Blackmail U/A Censored Certificate."
It is worth noting that the film was initially set to premiere globally on August 1 this year but was postponed just a day prior to its release.
On Thursday, JDS Film Factory stated, “Dear all, Our Movie Black Mail release is postponed due to unavoidable circumstances. We regret for the inconvenience caused. A new release date will be announced soon. Team Black Mail. #blackmail #jdsfilmfactory @gvprakash @mumaran1 @APIfilms @teju_ashwini_"
However, the production house did not disclose the reasons behind the decision to delay the film.
