Chennai, Feb 26 (NationPress) Actor and filmmaker Ken Karunaas has revealed that the esteemed music director G V Prakash, a two-time National Award winner, selflessly chose not to accept any payment for composing the score of his debut film 'Youth'.
During a recent interview, Ken Karunaas shared how he aspired to have a renowned music director on board for his project. "I expressed to G V Prakash anna my concerns about how no one seemed to believe in my vision. It is noteworthy that the film's team had initiated dubbing work on the final day of the previous year. Just a week prior, the production team announced the completion of the film's shooting. They shared a video clip showcasing the filming of a song, followed by Ken announcing the wrap.

For those unfamiliar, Ken Karunaas, known for his performances in Dhanush's 'Asuran' and 'Viduthalai 2', is stepping into the role of director with this film.
This project will also star Anisma Anil Kumar, Meenakshi Dinesh, Priyanshi Yadav, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Devadarshini in significant roles.
On the technical side, the film features cinematography by Vicky and music by National Award recipient G V Prakash Kumar.
Nash is responsible for editing, while art direction is handled by Ramu Thangaraj. The film's costume design is being managed by Kavya Sriram, who is known for her work with Tamil star Dhanush.
Set in a school environment, the film is being produced by Karuppiah C. Ram, Kali Rajkumar, and Sulochana Kumar under the banners of Parvatha Entertainment and Street Boy Studio, with a substantial budget.
