Mumbai, Nov 13 (NationPress) Veteran actress Guddi Maruti reminisced about her early days in the film industry, particularly the memorable moment when she filmed a kiss scene with Akshay Kumar.

On Thursday, she took to her Instagram account to post nostalgic photos from their film “Khiladi.” In one of the images, Guddi is captured attempting to kiss Akshay on the cheek, while another shows her standing closely beside him in a scene set in a college canteen.

Her caption read, “Ek kiss ki keemat tum kya jaano Akshay babu #guddimaruti #viral.”

Guddi Maruti and Akshay Kumar have shared the screen in numerous films, including “Khiladi,” “Ikke Pe Ikka,” and “Sainik.”

In a previous interview with Siddharth Kannan, she reflected on Akshay's significant appeal among women during their collaboration on “Khiladi.” She noted that he had several girlfriends, mentioning that she was aware of two or three of them. She emphasized that while he may not have been romantically involved with multiple women simultaneously, he was definitely seen as a heartthrob.

Guddi stated, “Kaafi girlfriends thi uski (He had many girlfriends). I know of his two or three lovely girlfriends, but I can’t say how many more he dated. On set, he was always very nice to work with. He was a mastikhor.” She further clarified that Akshay never dated multiple girls concurrently, yet he held the reputation of being a heartbreaker.

Having started her acting career at the age of 10, Guddi Maruti has starred in numerous hit films, including “Shola Aur Shabnam,” “Aashik Aawara,” “Dulhe Raja,” and “Biwi No. 1,” among others. She also gained fame through her role as Bua in the TV series “Doli Armano Ki.”
