Mumbai, Oct 14 (NationPress) Renowned actor Gulshan Devaiah, celebrated for his role as King Kulashekara in Kantara: Chapter 1, has expressed that working with actor-director Rishabh Shetty has been one of the most creatively fulfilling experiences of his career.

Reflecting on how their partnership started long before the film was in production, Gulshan recounted their first meeting in 2019, well ahead of Kantara: Chapter 1’s inception.

Gulshan revealed to IANS: “Rishabh approached me through our mutual friend PD Satish Chandra and shared his wish to collaborate. At that time, I wasn't familiar with his work, but I found our meeting delightful. His sincerity and passion for cinema were palpable.”

“I was immediately drawn to his energy. Although our initial project discussions didn’t materialize for various reasons, our connection as artists was undeniable,” he reflected.

Gulshan continued: “When Rishabh and I first connected, there was an immediate bond of respect and admiration for each other's artistry. We envisioned collaborating one day, even though we were uncertain about when or how it would happen.”

“This shared vision ultimately manifested in 2025 with Kantara: Chapter 1. Collaborating with Rishabh has truly been an artistically enriching experience for me. He is an extraordinary storyteller who approaches his narratives with immense passion, integrity, and authenticity. He inspires those around him to excel.”

The actor noted that their mutual appreciation for genuine and meaningful storytelling made their collaboration seamless.
