During her conversation with the iconic Amitabh Bachchan, she reminisced about a special T-shirt her father had stitched for her, emblazoned with the words 'Good Batting.' This moment inspired Harmanpreet to recount the emotional backstory behind that treasured memory.

Harmanpreet shared, 'On the day I was born, my father was at work when the family informed him that my mother had been taken to the hospital. When I eventually wore those clothes, it went unnoticed. However, years later, as we were moving houses, my mother discovered them and exclaimed, “Let me show you the clothes you wore on your first day.” I found a shirt that said 'Good Batting.'

A curious Amitabh inquired what motivated her to pursue cricket. With pride, she recounted, 'One day, my school principal spotted me playing and noted that while the school had various sports, it lacked a cricket team. He said, “If you join, I’ll create a team, as I have girls who play other sports.” So, I joined, and he formed the team, paving my way into the girls' cricket team.

For Harmanpreet, rediscovering those little handmade clothes served as a beautiful reminder of her father's unwavering belief in her potential, long before she ever envisioned becoming the captain of India's women's cricket team.
