Mumbai, Feb 15 (NationPress) Esteemed actress Hema Malini recently experienced a delightful interaction with a baby elephant named Indrani. She shared that the moment brought back memories of her film, "Maa", which focused on the bond between a mother and her baby elephant.

Hema Malini posted a snapshot on her official Instagram, capturing the moment when the baby elephant approached her, along with a caption. "Abhi na jao chhod kar..'पेट' abhi bhara nahin (Don’t leave just yet... my stomach isn’t full yet). I recall my work in "Maa", which depicted the affection between a mother elephant and her calf. I cherish those beautiful memories from that movie. Today, when this little elephant Indrani halted my path, it reminded me of their unconditional love.

In other news, President Droupadi Murmu recently opened the inaugural session of the 10th edition of the International Women’s Conference at the Art of Living Center in Bengaluru.

During the event, actress and Member of Parliament Hema Malini remarked, "Many inquire how I juggle dance, performances, and public duties? I simply say, ‘Just Be’. Yoga, dance, and meditation—taught by Gurudev—allow me to find my center."

Moreover, Hema Malini was awarded the esteemed 'Vishalakshi Award' for her contributions to Indian cinema, performing arts, and public service.

On a different note, BJP MP Hema Malini faced criticism after stating that the tragic Maha Kumbh stampede was not a "significant incident".

While addressing the media at the Parliament House complex, the actor-turned-politician mentioned, "We attended Kumbh... had a pleasant bath... Everything was well organized. It is true that the incident (stampede) occurred... Itna kuch bada nai hua tha (it was not a very big incident). I’m uncertain about its scale. It seems to be overstated... It was very well-managed, and everything was executed excellently... With so many attendees, managing can be challenging, but we are doing our utmost."

On the day of the stampede, Hema Malini also took a sacred dip in the Maha Kumbh.
