This film emerged as one of the highest-grossing releases of its year and has since gained a cult following, frequently referenced for its memorable quotes and high rewatch potential. It draws loose inspiration from the British film “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.”
With over 1,300 songs to his name, Himesh began his journey as a music director with the film “Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya” in 1998 and made his acting debut in “Aap Kaa Surroor” in 2007.
In August 2025, Reshammiya was recognized as the #22 most influential pop star in the world by Bloomberg, being the only Indian artist to make the list.
His most recent appearance was in “Badass Ravi Kumar,” directed by Keith Gomes, marking his first venture as a feature film director. This film acts as a spin-off of the 2014 movie “The Xposé,” where he reprises his role as Ravi Kumar.
