In an exclusive interview with IANS, the acclaimed television actress Hina Khan expressed her enthusiasm regarding the show's revival.

Hina shared, "When my mother was watching TV and Smriti Irani appeared, I was instantly captivated. She’s the original television queen—Tulsi Virani. It was a mesmerizing moment for me."

This nostalgic moment led Hina to ponder whether she might someday receive a call to reprise her role as Akshara in her show "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" or if all the classic shows could make a comeback.

"I quickly thought, 'Oh no, daily soaps are challenging,' but you never know. Trends evolve, and the recall value of these shows is substantial," Hina remarked.

Currently, Hina and her husband, Rocky Jaiswal, are featuring in the reality series "Pati Patni Aur Panga".

When questioned about whether the show is scripted or improvised, Hina clarified that while a basic structure exists, the majority of moments are genuine reactions.

“It’s entirely spontaneous. We leave home without knowing what the day may hold. Even the hosts are unaware of the tasks, which results in authentic and enjoyable reactions. We relish that element of surprise," Hina expressed.

She added, “We are thrilled for Pati Patni Aur Panga! It premieres every Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 PM starting August 2. It’s a complete stress-reliever—just as it helps us unwind during filming, it will do the same for viewers.”
