Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Mumbai, April 20 (NationPress) Renowned director Imtiaz Ali took a moment to revisit a cherished experience from the filming of his highly anticipated project, "Main Vapas Aaunga".
He shared a lovely sunset moment on his official Instagram, where he was seen soaking in the scenery in Patiala alongside his team.
The image captured Imtiaz relaxing on the grass with Vedang Raina and Sharvari, accompanied by other crew members.
It appears they were engaged in a lively discussion.
"Memories of the shoot - golden sunsets in Patiala with @sharvari @vedangraina (sic)," was the caption he included.
In a previous interview with IANS, Imtiaz shared that memories play a crucial role in shaping the visual style and palette of "Main Vapas Aaunga".
The creator of 'Rockstar' explained, “We were guided by the memories, the images in the memory of Ishar. Ishar Singh Grewal, the character, is 95 years old, reflecting on the beautiful moments of his past during his college years. There's a specific hue or tone that memory takes on.”
“It may vary from the actual light and texture of the time, but when remembered 78 years later, it gains a rosy tint. This is how we envisioned the film's imagery, consciously pursuing the essence of a joyful memory. We sought to capture that feeling through specific lensing, lighting, costume design, and various camera techniques,” he added.
Produced by Sameer Nair and Deepak Segal from Applause Entertainment, alongside Mohit Choudhary and Shibasish Sarkar of Window Seat Films, "Main Vapas Aaunga" is set to hit theaters on June 12.
