Mumbai, Feb 9 (NationPress) With Valentine's Day fast approaching, television actress Ishita Ganguly opened up about her vision of the perfect Valentine's Day.

In an exclusive chat with IANS, Ishita expressed, "For me, every day is a celebration of love. Waking up in the morning and speaking kindly to someone, making them feel good about themselves—that's the essence of it. Additionally, it’s vital to spread love. You don’t have to exclusively spend this special day with your partner; you can enjoy it with family, close friends, or even your mom. I have taken my mom out on special dates a few times."

Currently, Ishita portrays Chamkeeli in Shemaroo Umang’s series, "Badi Haveli Ki Chhoti Thakurain." Discussing her character, she noted, “Chamkeeli is bold, fierce, and unapologetic. She believes that every ruthless act she undertakes is warranted to fulfill her ambitions. I drew inspiration from Urvashi Dholakia’s Komolika, who made vamps glamorous and iconic. While Komolika is a benchmark, I hope that Chamkeeli will carve out her own legacy. Her look, personality, and the dialogue ‘Chamkeeli jab chamake hai na, tab ache ache ka bulbva fuse ho jaave hai’ make her a joy to portray. Every detail of her appearance, from her mangtika to her tattoo, excites me—the stylist and makeup team have done an incredible job!”

Set against the luxurious backdrop of Rajasthan, "Badi Haveli Ki Chhoti Thakurain" explores the rivalry between Chamkeeli and Chaina in their quest for the legacy of the haveli.

Alongside Ishita Ganguly as Chamkeeli, the show features Diksha Dhami as Chaina and Sheel Verma as Jayveer.

Directed by Raghuvir Shekhawat, the series is produced by Natkhat Productions.

"Badi Haveli Ki Chhoti Thakurain" debuted on January 27, 2025.
