Los Angeles, Oct 19 (NationPress) Actor Jacob Elordi is sharing fresh insights regarding the much-anticipated new season of his immensely popular streaming series ‘Euphoria’.
The actor described his experience working on the series as incredibly freeing. Recently, he graced the red carpet at the Academy Museum Gala where he discussed the forthcoming season, according to reports from ‘Variety’.
In his conversation with ‘Variety’, he stated, “It was incredible, man. It was incredibly liberating. I got to play something so sort of far out from what I’ve done before.”
He praised series creator Sam Levinson, saying he has “crafted something that’s remarkably clever and cinematic. I believe audiences are really going to appreciate it.”
However, as reported by ‘Variety’, Elordi admitted that he doesn't have complete knowledge of the plot details for Season 3.
He explained, “Everyone works on different storylines. I’m not aware of what others are doing. I had a very specific storyline. You don’t know what the other storylines are. It’s like FBI files. Therefore, it’s fantastic because I’ll be able to enjoy the show just like everyone else does as a fan, which I haven’t been able to do before. I’m genuinely excited.”
Elordi also sought to clarify a rumor claiming he stated that Season 3 was filmed entirely in VistaVision. “I did not say that; that is not true,” he clarified, adding, “It’s shot on a variety of film types, and it’s beautiful.”
‘Euphoria’ revolves around a group of high school students, centering on Rue (played by Zendaya), a teenager grappling with drug addiction, navigating complex social dynamics, family issues, and the challenge of remaining sober post-rehabilitation. Season 2 aired in 2022, and throughout its first two seasons, the series garnered 25 Emmy nominations, winning 9.
