Mumbai, Feb 24 (NationPress) Singer Jaspinder Narula, who recently received the prestigious Padma Shri award, discussed her diminished involvement in Bollywood over the past few years.
Commenting on the evolving landscape of the music industry, Narula noted that changes in filmmakers, music directors, and lyricists have influenced her lesser participation. Nevertheless, she affirmed that music is a journey, and she remains engaged through performances, recordings, and her evolution as an artist.
In an exclusive interview with IANS, Jaspinder stated, “The industry is ever-changing. The landscape of singers, music directors, filmmakers, and lyricists has transformed significantly. Few artists have maintained a consistent presence in Bollywood over the decades.”
She further remarked, “Although my presence in Bollywood may have waned, I am still actively involved in singing, performing at various events, and recording new music.
