Mumbai, Dec 16 (NationPress) Renowned Bollywood icon Jeetendra recently marked his 50th wedding anniversary with his spouse Shobha Kapoor.
To commemorate the occasion, the esteemed actor tied the knot again with the love of his life, surrounded by family and friends. His daughter Ektaa Kapoor, who recently produced the well-received film ‘The Sabarmati Report’, shared a video from the celebration on her Instagram.
The event took place at their residence, Krishna Bungalow located in the Juhu area of Mumbai, and was attended by numerous personalities from the film and television industry.
Stars such as Sonali Bendre, Anil Kapoor, Padmini Kolhapure, and David Dhawan were present to join in the festivities.
Actress Krystle D'Souza also took to her Instagram to share snapshots from the occasion, where she was seen with Ektaa Kapoor and other actors.
In her caption, she expressed, “Last night was magical, filled with so much love! Here’s a glimpse of us girls with the evergreen dulha and dulhan #ShobhakiJeet #50thAnniversary (sic).”
In another notable event, Amit Shah attended a special screening of the film in the national capital alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other esteemed government officials.
Meanwhile, Ektaa Kapoor’s latest production, ‘The Sabarmati Report’, has garnered significant acclaim. The film delves into the tragic incident involving the burning of the Sabarmati Express train on February 27, 2002, when a mob set ablaze the S6 coach near Godhra railway station in Gujarat. The narrative features Vikrant Massey as a Hindi journalist fighting for the truth in his reporting.
Moreover, the film has been declared tax-free in multiple states including Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Odisha, and Uttar Pradesh.
