Los Angeles, Dec 21 (NationPress) Reality television personality JoJo Siwa has declared her intention to propose to Chris Hughes if he does not take the initiative to ask for her hand in marriage.

The 22-year-old singer met the 32-year-old reality star during the filming of Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year. JoJo disclosed her marriage aspirations with Chris, who firmly stated that he would not pop the question during Christmas, according to reports from Female First UK.

Chris mentioned in an interview with The Sun’s Fabulous magazine, “You always get people who get engaged at Christmas. I see it on Instagram every year. I prefer the idea of it not being at a time where it could be anticipated.”

JoJo humorously responded, “When he asked me what I wanted for Christmas, I said ‘a ring’. He reacted, ‘really?’ and I clarified, ‘a Ring doorbell’. But what if I got him a ring?”

In contrast, Chris remarked, “You can’t. I don’t think you should propose. I disagree. I’ve discussed this with others before. I genuinely feel that if I were proposed to, it would make me very uncomfortable.”

Despite this, as per Female First UK, JoJo is not in a hurry to propose, allowing Chris a seven-year timeframe before she takes the plunge.

She added, “I wouldn’t do it unless you waited seven years. Then I’d be like, ‘alright, I’m getting down on one knee’. If you waited that long, I’d be like ‘okay’.”

Chris concurred, “That’s reasonable. It shouldn’t take seven years to determine if you want to marry someone. So you can base it on that, and then it won’t ever occur.”

JoJo playfully warned him, “Just so you know, May 27th, 2032, I will be down on one knee. I won’t wait an extra day.”

The couple was initially believed to have begun dating in June, but JoJo clarified that they actually started their relationship a month earlier.
