Judi Dench Shares Humorous Story About Her Parrot's Colorful Language

Los Angeles, Dec 2 (NationPress) British actress Judi Dench has amusingly recounted an incident involving her parrot. The actress disclosed that her parrot uses explicit names for her, and she takes it in stride.
As she approaches her 90th birthday on December 9, the actress recently spoke with the U.K. publication 'The Times' about this significant birthday and her life experiences, as reported by 'People' magazine.
During the interview, the legendary film and stage actress mentioned her African grey parrot named Sweetie, who has a knack for swearing.
She shared with the outlet, “She says, ‘You’re a s***’, ‘you’re a slag'. She has even mentioned ‘Boris Johnson’, but that didn’t come from me.”
The star of 'Cats' added, “She listens to the radio. My goodness, she’s hilarious. She’s incredibly funny. Everyone should have a parrot or a myna bird. Their vocalizations are absolutely remarkable.”
According to 'People', the actress, who resides in Surrey, England, also elaborated on how she has been spending her recent days. “I’m involved in a multitude of activities. I’ve been busy every single day this week,” she stated.
She continued, “I attend painting classes on Tuesday evenings. I’ve also received some clay, so I’m teaching myself a bit about that. What else do I do? I’m a total fan of Bananagrams (the word game). I’m quite competitive at it. Plus, there’s a fun card game called Bitch that we enjoy playing.”
The actress, who has appeared in seven 'James Bond' films, revealed that she has committed to a new project starting early next year, though she chose not to disclose details, expressing, “I’m a bit superstitious about that.”
When the discussion shifted towards aging, she expressed her desire to remain grateful, particularly after recently losing several close friends. “I believe you’re fortunate to reach 90,” she reflected.
