Mumbai, Nov 24 (NationPress) Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan expressed her sorrow over the loss of Dharmendra by sharing a nostalgic photograph of the iconic actor alongside her late grandfather Raj Kapoor.

Kareena took to her Instagram stories to share two black and white images as a tribute. The first photo showcased the two late legends sharing a warm embrace, which Kareena accompanied with a “red heart” emoji.

Next, she posted a joyful picture capturing Dharmendra and Raj Kapoor greets each other with broad smiles.

In her caption, she wrote: “Forever in power”.

Dharmendra, who recently passed away in Mumbai, is set to appear posthumously in 'Ikkis', directed by the renowned Sriram Raghavan. The veteran actor made his film debut in the 1960 classic Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere. His latest appearances were in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.

On the topic of Raj Kapoor, he is celebrated as one of the most significant and influential actors and filmmakers in Indian cinema's history, often referred to as The Greatest Showman of Indian Cinema and likened to Charlie Chaplin.

Inspired by Chaplin, he portrayed characters reminiscent of The Tramp in films such as Awaara, Shree 420, and Mera Naam Joker. His role in Awaara was ranked among the top ten greatest performances in global cinema history by Time magazine.
