Did Kartik Aaryan Really Say No to the 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' Franchise?
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Mumbai, Dec 9 (NationPress) Did you know that Kartik Aaryan initially declined the opportunity to join the 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' franchise? At the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia, Kartik disclosed that he had turned down the project initially. When he was approached, there was merely a concept for a sequel, lacking a solid storyline.
Kartik expressed his gratitude for the affection he has received for his role as Roohi Baba, stating he is pleased he decided to participate in the project. “When the film came to me for the first time, there was no story — just a sequel idea. I wasn’t interested. But Bhushan Kumar convinced me, and we developed it further, resulting in a transformative experience. Nowadays, children recognize me as Rooh Baba wherever I go. I’m happy I eventually agreed,” he shared.
Both 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' and 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' have become significant films in Kartik’s career.
Next up, Kartik stars in the highly anticipated romantic comedy 'Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri', alongside Ananya Panday. This project, directed by Sameer Vidwans, also features notable actors such as Neena Gupta, Jackie Shroff, and Tiku Talsania.
The film was shot in stunning locations across Croatia, Rajasthan, and Mumbai over a period of 57 days and is slated for a theatrical release on December 25.
Additionally, Kartik will appear in 'Naagzilla', where he takes on a new character, Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand, a shape-shifting naag embarking on a fantastical adventure. Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and penned by Gautam Mehra, 'Naagzilla' is produced by Dharma Productions in collaboration with Mahaveer Jain Films.
