Did Kichcha Sudeep Swap Seats with Roshini Prakash at the 'Mark' Pre-release Event?
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Chennai, Dec 16 (NationPress) In a move aimed at demonstrating that there was no intention to overlook any member of the cast, Kannada superstar Kichcha Sudeep opted to switch his seat with actress Roshini Prakash during a media session organized by the team behind director Vijay Kartikeyaa's upcoming Kannada action film, 'Mark'.
The primary team of 'Mark', featuring Kichcha Sudeep as the lead, convened with the media in Chennai on Monday.
During this interaction, actress Roshini Prakash, who was positioned at one end of the stage, was questioned by a reporter from a YouTube channel about whether she felt sidelined in the film.
Taking it upon himself to address the inappropriate query, Kichcha Sudeep, after obtaining Roshini's consent, responded, "I must clarify something. Not a single question like yours arose on my set. No one expressed concerns about being called in last. This lack of negativity is why this film has turned out so well."
The actor then proceeded to switch seats with the film's heroines, placing them in the center while he took a corner seat.
Addressing the reporter, he remarked, "This was not deliberate. Such questions create an uncomfortable atmosphere. No one harbors such thoughts. This is a celebration, and celebrations should be joyous."
Kichcha Sudeep further stated, "No one on set ever complained about another person. If there is love, only love should thrive. If hard work exists, only hard work should be present."
He then invited Roshini to share her experience regarding how she was treated throughout the filming process, including how she was respected and valued.
Roshini expressed, "You must watch this film. It's significant for me to be part of a project produced by a renowned production house like Sathya Jyothi. Collaborating with Sudeep sir means that when two titans join forces, the visibility I gain is substantial. Throughout the film, we never thought about our roles as hero or heroine or how much screen time we had. Our collective vision was only that 'Mark' should succeed. We aimed to perform our roles to the best of our abilities."
Turning to the film's producers, she said, "It is monumental for me to stand before you and speak. I am immensely proud to be associated with a film from your esteemed production house. This association compels me to do justice to it. I need to prove my worth to be here. Only after delivering a good film will I secure my next opportunity. I appreciate being given a seat among so many esteemed individuals."
