Mumbai, July 25 (NationPress) Renowned actress Kiran Dubey has opened up about her long absence from television following her roles in iconic series such as ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ and ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’.
In a candid interview with IANS, she shared her thoughts on her decision to step back from the limelight, emphasizing how this choice impacted both her personal and professional life. Kiran explained, “While I have participated in numerous successful shows, my life priorities have always come first. I needed to take a breather to focus on my personal growth, spirituality, and self-discovery. After a decade of continuous work, it felt essential to re-evaluate my path.”
Kiran also discussed what motivated her return after such a lengthy hiatus. “I am thrilled about my role in the film 5th September, which holds special significance as the first Bollywood project entirely filmed in Uttarakhand. This film, created by local talent Kunal Malla, features an extraordinary cast including Sanjay Mishra, Brijendra Kala, Kavin Dave, and others. The involvement of emerging actors like Malleha Malla and Rishabh also adds to its charm,” she shared.
“I portray a school therapist with a complex personality, making it a significant and beautiful role. Even though my screen time is limited, the character's depth is incredibly meaningful.
