Chennai, April 18 (IANS) The creators of director Mani Ratnam's much-anticipated action-packed thriller 'Thug Life', starring actor Kamal Haasan in the primary role, unveiled 'Jinguchaa', the inaugural single from the movie, on Friday, much to the joy of enthusiasts and cinema lovers.
This momentous event took place at the Kalaivanar Arangam, where the first track was launched in the company of distributors and journalists from around the nation.
'Jinguchaa', which features lyrics penned by Kamal Haasan, has been composed by A. R Rahman, an Oscar winner. The song has been beautifully sung by Vaishali Samant, Shakthisree Gopalan, and Adithya RK.
A special preview for the press revealed that the song is featured during a wedding scene in the film. Sanya Malhotra impresses with her captivating dance performance, complemented by Kamal Haasan and Silambarasan joining in for a dance finale.
The launch event saw the presence of director Mani Ratnam, music composer A R Rahman, and actors Kamal Haasan, Trisha, Joju George, Ashok Selvan, and Abhirami, among others.
