She highlights her intention to contribute significantly to each project, prioritizing the collective effort over personal accolades.
When questioned about any instances where she felt underestimated or typecast, Lauren shared with IANS: “Honestly, no—and I feel really thankful to say that. If anything, I’ve experienced the opposite. I’ve been treated with immense respect in the environments I’ve been part of.”
The 36-year-old actress noted: “I believe this stems from people acknowledging the journey I’ve undertaken, the extensive training I’ve undergone, the projects I’ve engaged with, and recognizing the dedication behind it.”
She mentioned that whenever she is invited to join a project, her first thought is how her participation can help enhance the project’s overall vision.
“What can I do to elevate it? I believe that right from the start, people can sense that I care about the final product and not merely about my own benefits,” she concluded.
Lauren gained fame as a contestant on the third season of the reality dance competition So You Think You Can Dance and starred in the lead role of the 2013 Indian dance film ABCD: Any Body Can Dance.
She was a runner-up in the sixth season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa alongside choreographer Punit Pathak in 2013. Two years later, she took on the role of judge in the show’s eighth season.
