Legal Action Taken Against Allu Arjun for His Reference to 'Army'

Mumbai, Dec 1 (NationPress) A legal case has been initiated against Telugu film icon Allu Arjun in light of the imminent release of his eagerly awaited film ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’.
At a recent promotional gathering in Mumbai, Allu Arjun referred to his fans as “Army”. This terminology has offended an individual named Srinivas Goud, who has subsequently filed a complaint against the actor at the Jawahar Nagar Police Station in Hyderabad, contesting the use of this term for his fan community.
In a recorded statement, Srinivas, who serves as the president of the Green Peace Environment and Water Harvesting Foundation, remarked, “We have lodged a complaint against Tollywood star Allu Arjun, urging him to refrain from using the term army for his fan base. Army is a prestigious role; they are the protectors of our nation, and such terminology should not be applied to fans. There are numerous other alternatives he could consider.”
In the meantime, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, which is undeniably the most anticipated film of the year, is scheduled to hit theaters on December 5.
The film features Rashmika Mandanna in the role of Srivalli, along with Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil.
Earlier during the event, Allu Arjun expressed his gratitude towards Rashmika for her steadfast support, describing her as someone who elevates the spirits of those around her.
Allu Arjun expressed, "I would like to take a couple of minutes to thank her for all her contributions to this film. Her support is tremendous. This film could not have been completed without Srivalli's backing. Both my director and I hold her in high regard because we film continuously, and she appears occasionally. When she does, those days are filled with joy. She leaves me feeling uplifted, bringing along such beautiful, positive energy.”
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and directed by Sukumar, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ features a soundtrack composed by Devi Sri Prasad, who previously received the National Award for his hit score in ‘Pushpa: The Rise’.
