Renowned for her elegance both on-screen and off, she has decided to traverse the Camino de Santiago alongside her childhood friend, adding a layer of joy and meaning to the experience.

During this pilgrimage, the actress has successfully covered 110 kilometers in nearly a week, recently earning the esteemed traditional certificate of completion. This certificate symbolizes not only the physical endurance of walking extensive distances but also the spiritual purpose behind her journey.

Ecstatic, Madhoo shared her achievement on social media, showcasing a picture of her certificate along with her excitement. The 56-year-old actress has been actively posting numerous pictures and videos from her pilgrimage, capturing moments with her childhood friends.

In one of her posts, she expressed, “The most beautiful thing in life is to be able to be together with people who keep you safe and smiling, and reunions are the best. Childhood friendships are the bestest, and here we are together monkeying around on our way to the Camino.” For those unfamiliar, the Camino de Santiago, or the Way of Saint James, is among the most renowned pilgrimages globally.

This route leads to the shrine of the Apostle Saint James located in the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, situated in Galicia, northwestern Spain. Madhoo remains celebrated for her memorable role in the film Roja, released in 1994.
