Mallika Emulates ‘Desi’ Pamela Anderson While Beach Running

Mumbai, Dec 2 (NationPress) Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat embraced her inner Pamela Anderson during her stunning beach run reminiscent of the iconic ‘Baywatch’ scene, captured in slow motion.

Mallika took to Instagram to share a mesmerizing video of her sprinting through the shallow waves towards the shore in slow motion. She wore a bikini paired with a vibrant red cover-up.

In her post, she wrote, “That’s just how I roll #beachglam #sunkissedstyle #slowmotionvideo #slowmotion #cinematicvibes #cinematic #slowmw.”

To complement the visuals, Mallika added the recognizable title track of ‘Baywatch’ as the background music. The original ‘Baywatch’ series, which aired from 1989 to 1999, centered around lifeguards managing the beaches of Los Angeles County, California, and Hawaii, featuring stars like David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson.

The show delved into the professional and personal dilemmas faced by its characters, who were portrayed by a diverse cast including Alexandra Paul, Gregory Alan Williams, Jeremy Jackson, Parker Stevenson, David Chokachi, Billy Warlock, Erika Eleniak, David Charvet, Yasmine Bleeth, and Nicole Eggert.

After its original run, the series transitioned to ‘Baywatch: Hawaii’ from 1999 to 2001, featuring a new setting and a revamped cast. In 2017, a film adaptation was released, starring Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

Mallika, last seen in ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ with Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri, made her cinematic debut in 2002 with ‘Jeena Sirf Merre Liye’, originally credited as Reema Lamba. Her rise to fame began in 2000 when she earned the title of a sex symbol following her role in the Emraan Hashmi film ‘Murder’, a romantic thriller released in 2004.

She later ventured into Western cinema with films like ‘Hisss’ and ‘Politics of Love’.

Her filmography also includes titles like ‘Khwahish’, ‘Bachke Rehna Re Baba’, ‘Pyaar Ke Side Effects’, ‘Aap Ka Suroor - The Real Love Story’, ‘Welcome’, and ‘Kis Kis Ki Kismat’, among many others.
