Earlier, the team had announced the film's title during Pongal celebrations this year. They also released a striking poster of Dhanush, showcasing an intense expression, with the tagline, "Sometimes, staying dangerous is the only way to stay alive."

Previously, the production house shared a still from Dhanush on social media, stating, "Straight from the sets of #D54 - Shoot in progress! @dhanushkraja". The image depicted Dhanush engaged in a conversation from an STD booth.
The film, initially referred to as #D54, features Mamitha Baiju as the leading lady.
It boasts a remarkable cast and an exceptional technical team.
Along with Dhanush and Mamitha Baiju, the film will include notable actors such as director K S Ravikumar, Jayaram, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Karunas, and Prithvi Pandiraj in significant roles.
On the technical side, cinematography is handled by the highly regarded Theni Eswar, while editing is managed by Sreejith Sarang. The musical score is composed by National Award winner G V Prakash.
Importantly, the screenplay is co-written by writer Alfred Prakash and director Vignesh Raja, who are known for their collaboration on the critically acclaimed investigative thriller 'Por Thozhil'.
In a previous interview, Alfred Prakash, who has a close friendship with Vignesh Raja, expressed that they share a profound understanding of each other.
The duo spent four years perfecting the final draft of 'Por Thozhil', believing that collaborative writing is advantageous as it allows each writer to bounce ideas off one another.
