Chennai, April 5 (NationPress) The Censor Board of Film Certification has officially approved director Deeno Dennis’s action-packed film ‘Bazooka’, starring Malayalam icon Mammootty, for release with a U/A certificate.

The production house Saregama announced on its social media, "He is on his way to see you all. #Bazooka Censored with U/A 13+ Certificate. In cinemas worldwide from April 10.”

Previously, the filmmakers revealed the roles of some actors in the movie. Divya Pillai portrays a character named Annie Benjamin, while Shine Tom Chacko plays Franco Salvatore in this action-packed entertainer.

With high expectations, the film is set to premiere on April 10 this year.

A trailer released by the production house earlier this year indicates that the film will focus on gangsters. It opens with Mammootty introducing Gautham Menon’s character.

Gautham Menon plays Benjamin Joshua, a tough ACP in Cochin city, skilled at uncovering the hideouts of even the most hardened criminals.

He leads a highly trained team that operates seamlessly with him.

The trailer also features Gautham Menon discussing Mammootty’s character.

He remarks, “He is Mr Nobody but definitely a somebody. Classy, sleek. If you ask me if he is a troublemaker, I don't think so because that is too simple a word to describe him.”

The trailer further elaborates on the film's premise: “This is a game. In this game of good vs evil, the ultimate goal is salvation,” a voiceover states.

Eventually, the trailer reveals that Gautham Menon and Mammootty are allies against a significant adversary of Benjamin

The film is highly anticipated for various reasons, including the collaboration with renowned director Gautham Vasudev Menon, who directed Mammootty’s previous film, Dominic and the Ladies Purse.

This gangster drama is produced by Vikram Mehra, Sidharth Anand Kumar, Dolwin Kuriakose, Jinu V Abhraham, and co-produced by Sahil S Sharma.

The film features music by Midhun Mukundan, cinematography by Nimish Ravi, editing by Nishadh Yusuf, and stunts choreographed by Mahesh Mathew, Vicky, PC Stunts, and Mafia Sasi.
