Manav Vij Shares Heartfelt Experiences from the Kashmir Shoot of ‘Tanaav 2’

Mumbai, Dec 2 (NationPress) Actor Manav Vij, who is poised for the premiere of season 2 of the streaming thriller series ‘Tanaav’, has revealed how the local community in Kashmir provided immense support to the production team during the shoot.

The essence of the show is captured in the breathtaking scenery of Kashmir, which has profoundly influenced the cast, particularly Manav Vij, who portrays a significant character in the series.

Reflecting on the awe-inspiring landscapes of Kashmir, and the inspiration it provided to the crew, Manav remarked, “Every day felt like a privilege. Pahalgam, in particular, remains my favorite spot—its beauty is unmatched, and it has left a deep mark on my heart.”

He also expressed his admiration for the warm hospitality of the local residents, who played a crucial role in enriching the filming experience.

Manav added, “The locals were extremely helpful and welcoming. We couldn’t have brought this ambitious project to life without their support. I salute their generosity and spirit.”

The actor also embraced the rich local culture, especially the delightful Kashmiri cuisine.

On savoring the unique flavors of Kashmir, he stated, “The flavors of Kashmiri dishes, especially Rajma and mutton, have become my absolute favorites. The aromas are unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.”

Additionally, the actor purchased exquisite carpets from Kashmir, noting, “Kashmir is renowned for its stunning carpets, and I’m happy to have a piece of it with me.”

Produced by Applause Entertainment and directed by Sudhir Mishra and E. Niwas, Tanaav is the official Indian adaptation of the Israeli series ‘Fauda’. The cast also includes Gaurav Arora, Satyadeep Misra, Rajat Kapoor, Shashank Arora, Kabir Bedi, Sahiba Bali, Ekta Kaul, Soni Razdan, and Sukhmani Sadana.

‘Tanaav 2’ is scheduled to stream on SonyLIV starting December 6.
