Mumbai, July 5 (NationPress) Actress Manushi Chhillar, who will soon star in 'Maalik' alongside Rajkummar Rao, expressed her views on the various beauty treatments that actresses reportedly undergo these days.

During an exclusive discussion with IANS, Manushi noted that, contrary to common belief, cosmetic treatments are not a recent trend but rather have existed for centuries, with modern technology simply enhancing accessibility.

Manushi remarked, "I have a medical background, and it’s a significant misconception that this is a new phenomenon. While we may have more advanced technology today, these practices have been around for ages.

She emphasized that opting for such procedures should always be a personal decision rather than an obligation.

"When it comes to cosmetology, it's a deeply personal choice. It’s not a requirement of any profession; if it makes you feel good, go for it—it's your choice. No one should impose their opinion on you, and if you choose not to, that should be respected," the former Miss World asserted.
