Chennai, February 10 (NationPress) One of Tamil cinema’s leading directors, Mari Selvaraj, has expressed his admiration for director Dhanush’s forthcoming film, Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK). He stated that he was “exhilarated by every bit of this world that Dhanush had crafted.”
Taking to his X timeline to share his insights on the film, Mari Selvaraj wrote, "Yesss! I watched #NEEK and I must say that after a long time, I experienced this ‘Usual Love Story’. Yet, I was truly exhilarated by everything in this world that Dhanush sir created! This exhilaration will resonate with everyone who views this film in theaters!! The ultimate joy in life stems from the purity of love!! And Director @dhanushkraja sirrr has vividly brought this emotion to life in his work!! Kudos to the entire team of #NEEK.”
Mari Selvaraj isn’t the first to commend this film directed by actor Dhanush.
Previously, actor and director S J Suryah also praised the film. Right after viewing it, S J Suryah lauded both the film and its director, describing it as emotional, humorous, and uniquely captivating.

Dhanush replied to S J Suryah’s tweet, saying, “Thank you so much for taking the time to watch our film sir. We are thrilled that you enjoyed it, and my team is overjoyed by your feedback,” he wrote in response.
The makers of the highly anticipated romantic entertainer have set the release date for February 21 this year. The film features actors Pavish, Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Matthew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, and Ramya Ranganathan among others, initially intended to release on February 7 this year.
Directed by actor Dhanush, NEEK is produced by Dhanush’s parents, Kasthoori Raja and Vijayalakshmi Kasthoori Raja, under his production house, Wunderbar Films. The film’s music is composed by G V Prakash Kumar, while cinematography is handled by Leon Britto and editing is done by G K Prasanna.
Malayalam actress Priya Prakash Warrier will mark her Tamil debut in this film. Dhanush will also make a special appearance in a song in the film. Similarly, actress Priyanka Arul Mohan will appear in a song titled Golden Sparrow. Notably, Golden Sparrow has already become a chart-topping hit, with the lyrical video amassing an impressive 133 million views on YouTube.
