Los Angeles, March 3 (NationPress) Actress Mikey Madison claimed the Best Actress award for her performance in Anora, which was a leading contender in various categories, including Best Picture and Best Director.
This year, Madison has also received the Best Actress accolades from both BAFTA and the Spirit Awards.
During her acceptance speech, she remarked: “This is very surreal. Growing up in Los Angeles, Hollywood always seemed distant, so standing here today is truly amazing.”
“I want to take a moment to acknowledge and honor the sex worker community,” she stated.
