Mithila Palkar's ‘Sweet Dreams’ Explores the Connection of Two Dreamers

Mumbai, Jan 13 (NationPress) Actress Mithila Palkar is set to appear in the new film ‘Sweet Dreams’. Directed by Victor Mukherjee, this film tells the captivating tale of two individuals who are connected through the enchanting universe of dreams.
Joining her in this cinematic journey are Amol Parashar, Meiyang Chang, and Sauraseni Maitra. The movie's beautiful soundtrack, crafted by the skilled team of Mukund Suryawanshi, Shubham Shirule, Dev Arijit, and Akashdeep Sengupta, aligns perfectly with its whimsical and dream-like atmosphere.
This film beautifully portrays the essence of serendipity and the profound nature of love that surpasses the mundane. It is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Neha Anand, and Pranjal Khandhdiya under the esteemed banners of Jio Studios and Mango People Media.
‘Sweet Dreams’ is scheduled to premiere on January 24 on Disney+ Hotstar.
Mithila Palkar first entered the acting scene with the 2014 Marathi short film ‘Majha Honeymoon’, showcased at the 16th Mumbai International Film Festival. It was during a meeting at Thespo (the annual theatre festival by QTP) that Dhruv Sehgal encouraged her to audition for the YouTube satire show ‘News Darshan’ by Filter Copy. She subsequently starred in her first web series ‘Girl in the City’ and various YouTube projects for Pocket Aces, including the popular web series ‘Little Things’ alongside Dhruv Sehgal, which began in 2017 and later became a published book by Penguin Random House.
In 2018, Netflix acquired the franchise for ‘Little Things’, and its second season debuted on the platform on October 5, 2018.
She also collaborated with Dulquer Salmaan and Irrfan in the film ‘Karwaan’, which was released on August 3, 2018. In 2019, she appeared in ‘Chopsticks’, a Netflix original film.
