Mumbai, Dec 5 (NationPress) Actress Mrunal Thakur is brimming with enthusiasm as her co-star from ‘Do Deewane Seher Mein’, Siddhant Chaturvedi, is poised to portray the legendary filmmaker V. Shantaram in an upcoming biopic.
Sharing the initial look poster of Siddhant from the eagerly awaited film on her Instagram Stories, Mrunal expressed that the director has served as a beacon of inspiration for countless individuals in the film industry, including herself. Witnessing Siddhant embody V. Shantaram on screen feels surreal and exceptionally significant for her.
Her heartfelt message on social media stated, "V. Shantaram has influenced generations with his vision, and I count myself among them. To see his life depicted on screen, especially by my friend, feels surreal and incredibly special (sic)."
She further added, "@siddhantchaturvedi, I am SUPER EXCITED! Make us proud!"
Recently, while discussing his upcoming role, Siddhant mentioned that every artist yearns for that one narrative that challenges their 'truth, heart, & hunger,' and for him, it is V. Shantaram.
Posting a couple of images of himself as V. Shantaram on his Instagram, Siddhant conveyed his gratitude for the overwhelming support following the release of the first look. He shared, "Thank you for all the love and support we’ve received on the poster. It truly means a lot. There couldn't be a better time than now to tell and remind us of a tale of rebellion and the glory of Indian cinema that shaped our nation. For me, it’s beyond words (sic)."
