Mukesh Khanna Endorses Allu Arjun for the Legendary Role of Shaktimaan

Mumbai, Dec 14 (NationPress) Actor Mukesh Khanna, famed for his role as Shaktimaan in the 1990s, expressed his belief that star Allu Arjun has the potential to portray this iconic Indian superhero character.

Mukesh shared insights in a video on his YouTube channel, elaborating on why he sees Arjun as a fitting choice for Shaktimaan.

“I am not making any promises, but I genuinely feel he (Arjun) could embody Shaktimaan. With his impressive looks and stature, he would indeed suit the role, despite the fact that the makers of Pushpa have cast him as a villain,” he mentioned.

He further commented on the success of “Pushpa: The Rule,” noting, “It’s not merely about spending money; their dedication to producing quality work is evident. I commend Pushpa 2 from its very first frame; each moment showcases their excellence. When you believe in your project, you naturally persuade the audience. Logic aside, it’s simply extraordinary.”

However, he did express a concern.

“They have glamorized the smuggling of sandalwood. What message does that send? Are filmmakers implying that smuggling and overcoming the police are acceptable? I urge South Indian filmmakers to refrain from creating such narratives merely for commercial success.”

In other developments, Allu Arjun was released from Chanchalguda Central Jail on Saturday morning after spending a night there in connection with a stampede incident at a theatre during the premiere of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’.

The actor, who received interim bail from the Telangana High Court on Friday evening, had to spend the night in jail due to delays in the prison authorities receiving the bail orders.

Upon his release, the national award-winning actor exited through the rear gate of the jail, escorted by authorities. He proceeded directly to the office of Geeta Arts and was expected to return home to Jubilee Hills later.

Police have implemented stringent security measures around his residence.
