Chennai, April 26 (NationPress) Actor Nani, whose highly anticipated film, ‘Hit: The Third Case’, is set to premiere on May 1, coinciding with the release of Suriya's eagerly awaited 'Retro', stated that he does not consider the films as adversaries.

During a press briefing in Chennai, Nani was questioned about how he perceived the simultaneous release of his film against Suriya's Retro at the box office on May 1.

Nani responded, “I don’t think it is competition. I think it is partying. We are both here to celebrate our films with all of you. It’s going to be an incredible experience. ‘Retro’ will undoubtedly be the first choice for the Tamil audience, and rightly so. I hope you enjoy watching Retro in theatres because I have immense respect for Suriya sir and I admire Karthik's (Karthik Subbaraj) work. They will surely create some magic on screen.”

“A fantastic weekend can accommodate two films. So, after enjoying ‘Retro’, I assure you that you will have a great experience in theatres with ‘Hit 3’. In Telugu, we are also set to deliver, and I hope ‘Retro’ performs well in Telugu too. I want not just ‘Retro’ and ‘Hit 3’ to succeed, but also ‘Raid 2’, which is releasing in Hindi. I envision May 1 as a day where every movie across the country does exceptionally well, attracting audiences back to theatres in droves, as all three films are thrilling and possess great content. I wish for that day to be celebrated as a grand movie watching day.”

The teaser showcased scenes of Arjun Sarkaar utilizing his laathi skills effectively while also searching for crime patterns to determine motives. The teaser concluded with a voiceover stating, “I have had my doubts about you from day one. Are you truly a police officer?” Arjun Sarkaar answers, “People have believed this lie for far too long. I will show you the original.”
