Mumbai, December 12 (NationPress) Actress Nushrratt Bharuccha, recognized for her candidness, expressed her thoughts on ambition and the label of being an “opportunist.”
During an event, Nushrratt confronted this label directly; however, she chose to redefine its meaning with clarity and maturity.
The actress known for 'Dream Girl' stated, “I’m an opportunist too. If I receive an offer for a film that I truly wish to do, then why shouldn't I? Of course, I’ll respond with, ‘Yes, I want to be a part of it.’ Everyone has their reasons for being in line — it's because they desire something. There’s nothing wrong with that.”
She highlighted that being labeled an opportunist often comes with unnecessary negative implications.
“Being an opportunist isn’t a fault, but your approach while navigating that path should be accountable. Only you understand that, or you acquire that knowledge over time. I’ve gained insights from my experiences, and if my values, perceptions, and beliefs resonate with me, then they are valid for me,” she elaborated.
On the professional front, Nushrratt was seen in G. Ashok's 'Ufff Yeh Siyapaa' recently.
This unique comedic tale follows Keshari Lal Singh (played by Sohum Shah), a timid ordinary man who finds himself in a chaotic situation when his wife, Pushpa (played by Nushrratt), leaves him, believing he has been flirting with their neighbor, Kamini (played by Nora Fatehi).
