Los Angeles, Jan 30 (NationPress) Hollywood actor Robert Pattinson disclosed that he has been consuming nothing but salmon for several months, after previously adhering to a diet of canned tuna while on film sets.
In an interview with GQ magazine, he stated: “I’m somewhat like a child. I’m juggling numerous projects consecutively and become quite fixated on maintaining a structured routine — otherwise, I’d feel unhinged afterward. However, during lunch yesterday, I realized I can’t even taste salmon anymore. It dawned on me that I’ve been eating nothing but salmon for months.”
“It’s like I have the diet of a seal: I genuinely consume salmon three times daily.”
The 38-year-old actor is well-acquainted with a fish-centric diet. He mentioned a time when he would solely indulge in canned tuna on film sets, according to reports from femalefirst.co.uk.
He elaborated: “I used to eat tuna straight from the can when working — I’d just splash some Cholula hot sauce on it. Once, someone witnessed me doing it and remarked that it was utterly disgusting.”
“Then I became concerned about mercury poisoning, prompting my switch to salmon. Someone told me I could also get mercury poisoning from salmon, but yes: I endorse it.”
The star of ‘The Devil All the Time’ humorously noted that he also supports “hyper-loading caffeine” early in the morning.
He remarked: “I definitely endorse hyper-loading caffeine right at the start of the day. You essentially need to navigate your entire day in a somewhat manic state. However, I can’t handle Celsius — it’s overwhelming. It’s like being on a roller coaster that I can’t disembark from.”
Pattinson revealed that his favorite beverage is instant coffee above all else.
“It’s very English. I enjoy it when it resembles oil — that’s how my espresso looks, just barely dissolved coffee granules,” he concluded.
