Chennai, July 3 (NationPress) The creators of the much-anticipated period drama ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’, directed by A M Jothi Krisna and starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role, unveiled the highly awaited trailer on Wednesday, much to the excitement of fans and cinema lovers.
The official account of the film on X tweeted, "The guardian of justice steps into the battlefield. #HHVMTrailer is out now #HariHaraVeeraMallu #HHVMonJuly24th #HHVM.”
The trailer kicks off with a voiceover stating, "At a time when you had to pay tax to live as a Hindu... When the Emperor crushed this nation's hard work beneath his feet.... When nature herself was awaiting the arrival of a warrior...."
We then witness a plot to eliminate an eighth man attempting to journey from Golconda to Delhi. "He must not reach there alive," declares the mastermind plotting the demise of the traveler headed towards Delhi.
The trailer introduces Bobby Deol as Aurangazeb, who ominously states, "This is the history I script. You want a throne or a death warrant?" while ruthlessly attacking others.
Moreover, a royal court member discusses the treasured Kohinoor diamond. "There is only one Kohinoor on this earth. To bring it home, we need a weapon of destiny like Lord Rama's arrow," he proclaims, right before the introduction of Pawan Kalyan.
The hero delivers a striking line: "You might have seen tigers that hunt goats. Now, you will see a royal tiger hunting other tigers."
The trailer also hints at Panchami (played by Nidhi Agerwal), who appears to be held captive, seeking the help of Hari Hara Veera Mallu (Pawan Kalyan). Furthermore, Bobby Deol confronts Pawan Kalyan in a fierce battle.
On Thursday, a clip released by the film's creators showed Pawan Kalyan watching the trailer and enjoying it. The actor, who also serves as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, was seen embracing director A M Jothikrishna before departing, expressing, "You really put in a lot of effort."
It’s worth noting that director Jyothi Krisna previously shared with IANS that the filming took place over 200 days.
"This is a 16th-century narrative. Bobby Deol portrays Aurangazeb in the film. It unfolds during the Mughal rule. The story is based on an incident that remains largely untold. It intertwines parts of fiction and fact. Pawan Kalyan embodies a Robinhood-like character, a thief," Jyothi Krisna revealed.
The first segment, ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 Sword Vs Spirit’, was initially set for release on June 12 this year but has now been rescheduled for July 24.
The film features cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa and Gnanashekar V.S., with Thota Tharani handling production design. The editing is conducted by National Award-winning editor K L Praveen.
In addition to Pawan Kalyan, Nidhi Aggarwal, and Bobby Deol, ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ will also star Nassar, Sathyaraj, Thalaivasal Vijay, Raghu Babu, Subbaraju, and Sunil among others.
