Mumbai, Feb 16 (NationPress) The action-packed film Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, featuring Prabhas, has shattered box office records. Following a remarkable theatrical performance, this Telugu blockbuster has now made a significant impact on OTT, trending for an impressive 366 consecutive days.

Prabhas, expressing his gratitude for the overwhelming response to Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, stated, "I am truly overwhelmed by the love shown for the film on Jio Hotstar! Eager to step into Khansaar soon."

Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire made waves during its Hindi TV premiere, captivating around 30 million viewers. With a box office gross exceeding ₹700 crore, it firmly holds its spot as one of the most popular films on OTT platforms.

Directed by Prashanth Neel, the movie showcases a talented ensemble cast, including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, and Sriya Reddy.

The narrative of Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire follows the bond between Deva (Prabhas), the exiled heir of Khansaar, and Varadha (Prithviraj Sukumaran), the reigning prince. As a coup is plotted by Varadha's relatives, he seeks Deva's assistance in solidifying his claim to the throne. Notably, the film's initial concept was inspired by Neel's debut project, Ugramm.

On the technical front, Bhuvan Gowda has expertly handled the cinematography while Ujwal Kulkarni managed the editing. The film's soundtrack was composed by Ravi Basrur.
