Mumbai, Feb 12 (NationPress) Singer Ragini Tandan, renowned for her popular track "Lamberghini", has recently shared the hurdles she encountered while pursuing a career in Bollywood.

Tandan disclosed that even after the success of her song, it took her five years to secure her first Bollywood playback opportunity. Reflecting on her journey, Ragini emphasized the crucial elements of time, perseverance, and dedication needed to penetrate the highly competitive realm of Hindi cinema.

Having made her playback debut with "Tappe" from "Bobby Aur Rishi Ki Lovestory", Ragini stated, “Bollywood wasn’t an easy door to open, even after Lamberghini. It required time, patience, and extensive hard work to arrive at this point. I’m thankful that my debut is in a film directed by Kunal Kohli Sir—it truly validates my journey.”

Ragini gained immediate popularity with her upbeat song "Lamberghini", released in 2018, featuring model Harshdaa. The track was composed by The Doorbeen. Furthermore, "Lamberghini" was remade in Hindi for the 2020 movie "Jai Mummy Di", with Neha Kakkar and Jassie Gill contributing their vocals.

In addition, "Bobby Aur Rishi Ki Lovestory", directed by Kunal Kohli, features Vardhan Puri, the grandson of Amrish Puri, and Kaveri Kapur, daughter of Shekhar Kapur.

Speaking about her debut film, Kaveri expressed, “Working on this project was a dream come true as a newcomer. The encouragement and insights I received from Kunal (Kohli) greatly assisted me in navigating my role as an actress, and his guidance will undoubtedly benefit me in future endeavors.”
