Mumbai, March 18 (NationPress) Aashi Tripathi, daughter of renowned actor Pankaj Tripathi, has made her entry into the entertainment industry with her debut music video titled “Rang Daaro.” Pankaj expressed that it was a deeply emotional moment for him and his wife, Mridula, to witness their daughter on screen.

Reflecting on Aashi's debut, Pankaj stated, "Watching Aashi on screen was a proud and emotional moment for both of us. She has always had a passion for the performing arts, and seeing her express such natural talent in her first project was truly remarkable."

“If this is her first step, I am eager to see where her journey leads,” he added.

The song “Rang Daaro”, performed by Mainak Bhattacharya and Sanjana Ramnarayan, is composed by Abhinav R Kaushik. This soft, romantic tune beautifully encapsulates the essence of love and creativity.

When music composer Abhinav R. Kaushik proposed the idea of featuring Aashi in the video to Mridula Tripathi, she consulted Pankaj, who fully endorsed the decision.

Mridula Tripathi remarked, "When the chance arose, I wanted to ensure Aashi was part of a project that resonated with her artistic vision. Rang Daaro is a stunning and soulful piece, and witnessing her embody the emotions on screen was heartening. We look forward to her growth and discovery of her unique path in the industry."

The visually stunning video, launched by Jar Pictures, portrays Aashi as a muse, being elegantly painted in vivid colors, enhancing the song's artistic narrative.

Aashi is currently focused on her studies at a college in Mumbai.

As for Pankaj, he was recently featured in “Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank,” the fourth installment in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe and a sequel to the 2018 film Stree.

The movie stars Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana, who must confront Sarkata, a malevolent entity abducting women from Chanderi.

Pankaj is also set to appear in Anurag Basu’s upcoming film “Metro… In Dino,” scheduled for release on July 4.

This film features Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh.

“Metro... In Dino” serves as a spiritual sequel to Basu's critically acclaimed film Life in a... Metro, released in 2007. It is an anthology that weaves together four heartwarming stories of modern couples, drawing its title from the song “In Dino” from Life in a... Metro.
