Chennai, Mar 1 (NationPress) Bollywood actor Rahul Bose, who portrays the Commanding Officer of Major Mukund Varadarajan in the film ‘Amaran’ directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, shared that the movie moved him to tears approximately 10 to 11 times during his viewing. Participating in a celebration event for the film's 100-day run, he expressed, “I have never encountered a film that so delicately balances the elements of action and love. Achieving remarkable action sequences alongside a deeply engaging love story is no easy feat. Rajkumar, you accomplished this with precision, patience, and a quiet confidence. A bright future awaits you.”

He then praised Sivakarthikeyan, stating, “Your performance is filled with authenticity. When someone is genuine on screen, viewers are drawn in. The moment they become insincere, our attention falters.”

Rahul further commented on both Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi, saying, “The chemistry between you two is extraordinary. It’s remarkable how this film transcends its script through your relationship. I must have cried at least 10 - 11 times while watching it, and I saw it twice, which is quite rare.”

He continued, “Sai Pallavi, I don’t need to say what’s politically correct. You are phenomenal. I haven’t had the chance to work with you yet, but hopefully, I will share a scene with you next time rather than just meeting you at the film’s conclusion. I was truly amazed.”

Rahul’s heartfelt speech was shared by Raaj Kamal Films International, the production company behind the film, on their X timeline on Saturday.

Amaran’, featuring Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi in lead roles, was produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International, Sony Pictures International Productions, and R.Mahendran.

The film is a biopic based on the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan, who received the Ashok Chakra, India’s highest gallantry award, for his ultimate sacrifice while battling militants in Jammu and Kashmir. He commanded the Cheetah company of the 44th Rashtriya Rifles when he made this profound sacrifice.

Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, the film features music by G V Prakash and cinematography by C H Sai. The action sequences were crafted by Anbariv and Stefan Richter.
