Chennai, April 11 (NationPress) Renowned director of Indian cinema, S S Rajamouli, has expressed his excitement regarding the Academy's decision to establish a new annual award dedicated to Stunt Design. He is overjoyed about the introduction of a dedicated Oscars category for films debuting in 2027.

Rajamouli's delight was further amplified when he noticed that the Academy used a still from his acclaimed film, ‘RRR’, in their announcement about the new stunt category.

The Academy released a poster featuring three stunt stills from various films, proclaiming, “Stunts have always been integral to the magic of cinema. Now, they are officially part of the Oscars.”
